first post

it's january second, 2011, raining, i'm drinking coffee and to distract my attention from anywhere it might be diverted, I am creating this blog.  what will i blog about? the short answer is, whatever the fuck i want.  the long answer lies somewhere between the cracks in the sidewalk and the rings of saturn.  bye for now.
